The End Goal
My Major & Career Goals
The major I am currently pursuing is Exercise Science, a field that fascinates me with its blend of anatomy, physiology, and movement science. I am deeply passionate about understanding how the human body functions and adapts to physical activity, injury, and rehabilitation.
My ultimate goal is to become a successful physical therapist, where I can combine my education, empathy, and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients. I am driven by the opportunity to help individuals overcome physical challenges, regain their independence, and achieve their wellness goals.

Freshman Year Fall 23
I can firmly say these last couple of months of college experiences have influenced how I feel about life here at IU Indy. After first accepting my status here to going to orientation and bridge I felt a worldly difference of knowing/ getting to know so many people in just a matter of a week. I now have many classes and continue to brainstorm with my peers I met on the very first day. This semester has really guaranteed for me and how I function as a person that I am in the right place. Although college is tough, it feels like a great brain workout because I am learning about topics I am passionate about and want to pursue.
Strengths & Weakness
This semester has brought many challenges and a new way of learning. Through it all, I’ve discovered that I have a strong work ethic. I’m committed to putting in the effort required to meet my goals, which has helped me stay focused and driven. However, I’ve also recognized that my study habits and time management skills are areas that I need to improve. Despite this, I’ve successfully reached the end of my first semester with many new experiences that will guide me in refining these skills for the future.

The Lesson
Lastly, the biggest lesson I’ve learned this semester is that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I’ve realized that many of my classmates are facing similar challenges or struggling with the same things I am. Knowing that we’re all navigating through similar situations has been reassuring and has helped me feel more connected and supported throughout this journey.
