Service Learning Project

For my service learning project, I chose to help referee the cornhole games for Special Olympics.  To say I had a GREAT time, would be an understatement.  It ended up being a beautiful sunny day (I did get severely sunburnt) with what I thought was a very good turnout.  Although I don't remember exactly how many games I refereed for, I know I was there from noon to about five.  It was so much fun to watch everyone being so competitive but also be such great sports.  I was even able to participate in a game myself.  I was a little discouraged showing up and seeing I was the only one in my group that went to IUPUI but I decided to try to be outgoing and be a great face to represent this organization.  For anyone choosing a service project, I would definitely recommend this and I would do it again.
